Songkran Festival/Thai New Year

Whhhoooaaaa! This day was a blast and a splash! Why?because it's "Songkran"festival,a Thai New Year celebration, where people pour water at each other that no one remains dry. It could be compared to our San Juan festival. To give you a glimpse of my activity today.

Here it is:

Woke up at 10:00 am

Had my breakfast while chitchatting w/ housemates and a friend

Got ready to splash at 11:45

Took a cab to the beach

People we met splash COLD water on us. I was trying to avoid coz I have my period and afraid of creating "red tide" he he he. Anyway, no matter how we tried to stay away from those hyper crowd we still became wet with powder on our faces and reached the beach. At the seashore, we enjoyed our pork, chicken, sticky rice and spicy salad. My companions took a short dip into the sea. After which we looked for a place where we could have our photo sessions...he he he

When we decided to get back home, too bad no available public transportation so we hitched onto one of the pick ups who happens to pass by. While on the way home, the driver made fun of stopping in front of the crowd so they can pour us some water. Well, we screamed for fun but still lucky that we're heading home so that we/I could change immediately.

Hope all could experience it as well. Happy Songkran to all.

when boredom strikes

Hi!, this is the 4th day of no work/it's school break for me as in literally. I don't have to wake up early morning and prepare myself at night for the next day . And I run out of activities to do.Bye the way I'm a preschool teacher.

Somehow I like this only for a while specially if I'm exhausted. Hope to have alternative days to report to school like, we only go to work only every other day? He he he! okay don't get me wrong here, I'm not lazy it's just that I want a balance holidays and workdays.

In these times of holiday I remembered my friend once told me that there is no case like boredom. It's just how people manage to look for an activity. So I guess, this is a reminder for me to think of what to do for the next few days.

Well, well, well it's so timely that next week Thailand is celebrating their week long new year and sure I'll be occupied to have fun with them.

To all my Thai friends..advance Happy New Year!

Today is the Beginning

I feel fulfilled that finally I created my blog account. I have been following famous b logger's in this site and got inspired to have my own.

Honestly, it took me days or shall I say months to finally open the site and sign up. This was because I need to purchase laptop to regularly update my account. I don't hope to have any follower for as long as I can write and express my feelings here is fine to me.

Well, this is it! the beginning of my blogging life.
